Are you ready to break through your fears? With all the negative news and press today with global economic and security challenges to wall street and bank failures what does it all spell,"FEAR" (What is FEAR - False Evidence Appearing Real).
If we allow it and give in to fear it will surely paralyze us. If we do not change our thinking and put positive scripture based thoughts in to our minds we will easily be devoured by the enemy. We will take a look at what is FEAR, what are some of the Fear Barriers we all face and what are some fear busters actions we can take to head off the enemy before he gets a strong hold. You see it all starts with one thought and God has given man dominion over all creation with the ability to reason to choose our thoughts. The choice really is ours. Some FEAR Barriers:
The opposite side of FEAR is faith, so the question will be how strong is your faith. How do we come through the adversity which will always be present in our lives. How will we handle uncertainty and risk that we can surely count on in our lifetime. You see God wants us to seize uncertainty and allow him to do the impossible.
If we look at some of the stories in the Bible where God came through in the bottom of the ninth, he always shows up and shows out. I think of Gideon and you know he had to be thinking, "God you want me to cut my troops down to 300 against thousands? Oh, and you want us to go into battle with trumpets and clanging symbols and jars. No weapons?"
You have to be kidding me. Or think of David and Goliath. "Forget the armour, King Saul. I will go it light and fast. And my weapon of choice: 5 stones and a sling shot." So why does God love the impossible? Why does he call us to trust him with insurmountable odds... so he can get all the glory. There is no way we can even say we had any part in the miracle.
And by the way he is still in the miracle business. Need your marriage put back together, your finances fixed, maybe you need a new job or healing in your body? Give it to God , he may just surprise you. Yes, we will always face adversity in our lives but the question is how will you react to it and more importantly who will you call on to handle it?
